At ‘Blossom Artistry Weddings’, every floral design tells a story—and some stories are as heartfelt and memorable as the one shared by the Rileys. Married on February 1st, 2025, at the Forest Hall at Chatham Mills in Pittsboro, NC, this adventurous couple celebrated their winter wedding with a natural palette, unique personal touches, and an abundance of love.

Soulmates Since the Start

In a perfectly modern way, Tyler and Erin met online—and instantly connected. From their first date, it was clear they had found something special. Their shared love for being on the water, enjoying time with their beloved bird dogs, and embracing the outdoors quickly formed the foundation of their relationship.

One of their favorite pastimes as a couple is growing their Antique Duck Decoy collection. Whether they’re browsing decoy shops around North Carolina or visiting the Core Sound Decoy Festival, each piece holds a cherished memory. They also spend countless hours with their German Shorthaired Pointer and German Wirehaired Pointer, whether training, swimming, or simply enjoying nature.

Why Blossom Artistry?

When it came time to choose ‘wedding flowers near Chapel Hill’ for their big day, the decision was easy. “We have used ‘Blossom Artistry Weddings’ for some special life moments, celebrating loved ones,” Erin shared. “It was no question that we wanted the same quality of care and attention to detail for our big day!”. From their first consultation with Julie, the couple states they knew we were in the right place.

A Winter Green Theme

With a wedding set in early February, the Rileys embraced the seasonal tones of winter. Their theme, Winter Green, drew from natural textures and a muted color palette featuring greens and nudes. It was a timeless aesthetic that blended seamlessly with their venue and personal style.

The floral inspiration behind the day was deeply meaningful. Evergreens were the foundation, but “we looked for flowers that represented our love story well—simple but strong,” said Erin.

The rustic venue provided the perfect backdrop for the Rileys’ nature-inspired celebration. With high ceilings, exposed brick, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it paired beautifully with the floral décor.

Unforgettable Floral Highlights

The florals throughout the ceremony and reception were stunning, but a few moments truly stood out. When asked what pieces made the day special, Erin shared, “The cake table. Far above and beyond what I had dreamed of…”.

However, the ‘wedding flowers near Chapel Hill’ didn’t stop there. “I was blown away when I saw the reception hall. The fullness of the arrangements and the balance of the green with our other décor was unreal. Another unforgettable element was Erin’s bridal bouquet. “It was exactly what I hoped for”.

Personal Touches

One of the most touching floral details was the duck feather placed in each boutonniere—a nod to Tyler’s love of duck hunting and the couple’s cherished decoy collection. The same collection was also featured as the table centerpieces, bringing their story full circle and creating a reception space that felt unmistakably theirs.

A Blossoming Love Story

Tyler and Erin’s wedding day was a heartfelt celebration of love, tradition, and nature. Every element reflected their journey together, and so importantly, Erin lived “the fairytale that I had always dreamed that day would be.”

At ‘Blossom Artistry Weddings’, we are honored to have played a part in their story. If you’re planning your own big day and looking for ‘wedding flowers near Chapel Hill’, we’re here to help create a floral experience that’s personal, unforgettable, and beautifully you.
