Birthdays. Celebrations. Just because. A post to show some of the Make Everyday Special arrangements we create at Blossom Artistry:
In between weddings and Mother’s Day, we were asked to make up a few new samples for the sponsor tents at the U. S. Open and the U. S. Women’s Open in Pinehurst this coming June.
In this first arrangement, the hydrangeas will be replaced with succulents come June. In late April, we have plenty of hydrangeas on hand.
The second is a smaller arrangement in a round container:
These are a few different views of the same arrangement:

And a week later, the flowers look great!
Stay tuned for more floral updates about the U. S. Open and the U. S. Open as we head toward June and Pinehurst!
These are pictures of the bride, groom, and attendant flowers.
The bride’s bouquet was laced in sisal with pearl accents. The bridesmaids bouquets were wrapped with burlap, to match the table runners.
Woodlake Meadows has a pond and a gazebo with a trellis. The gazebo was covered in garlands of white and yellow flowers.
The ceremony and reception flowers were a selection of sunflowers, roses, hydrangeas, daisies, ranunculas, and astilbe, with accents of cotton bolls.
The path to the ceremony seating was outlined with flowers arranged in rustic ball jars, hanging from shepherd’s crooks.
Flowerboxes on the long tables held succulents and the cake was topped with matching flowers and a handmade love token.
Yellow ranunculas in blue bud vases provided vertical accents along the tables.
The reception was held on the patio at Woodlake Meadows, with both long table and round table seating for the guests.

Blossom Floral Artistry loved meeting brides, friends and families at the 2014 Cary Magazine Elegant Weddings Gala, held again at the lovely State Club on the NCSU Centennial Campus.
Jonathan Fredin was the photographer for the event; his pictures are lovely:

We had a wonderful time meeting brides, families and friends at the 2014 Carolina Inn Bridal Showcase in January. Fortunately, the extreme cold weather softened a bit just before the show. Here are a few of the bouquets and centerpieces we carried to the showcase.
